About us
- In order to save Vilnius Castles as Lithuanian historic and spiritual culture centre, Lithuanian Parlament established Vilnius Castles State Cultural Reserve in 1997 August 1st.
- In order to administrate Vilnius Castles State Cultural Reserve Lithuanian Ministery established Directorate in 2004 July 1st.
- Directorate of Vilnius Castles State Cultural Reserve is a state budgetary institution. Directorate's owner is the Republic of Lithuania. Directorate's owner's rights and obligations are realizable by Lithuanian Ministery of Culture.
- Directorate's action is based by Constitution of Republic of Lithuania, law and under-law acts as well as Rules of Vilnius Castles State Cultural Reserve, which are affirmed and changed by Government of Republic of Lithuania.
- Directorate's action is reglamented by Rules of Directorate, which are affirmed and changed by Minister of Culture of Republic of Lithuania.
