Lithuanian Castles

The Directorate evaluates significant importance and cultural value of Lithuanian Castles. In order to do so, we are publishing periodical scientific journal "Lithuanian Castles". In 2005, the first number of journal was published, which included scientific research dedicated to Vilnius Lower Castle's research, as well as two other oldest Lithuanian castles - Trakai and Kernavė Castles.

In 2020, after a long period, the newest "Lithuanian Castles" number was released, which included war history themes from one of the most interesting exhibition "200 shoes - 700 years" of Lithuania's National Museum.
