Planning documents of the Directorate's activities

The Directorate is not a separate appropriations manager. For its activities, the Directorate receives funds from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. Therefore, the Directorate annually prepares only annual activity plans and reports on the implementation of annual activity plans. Thus, the Directorate does not formulate either policy or strategy, but only implements a part of the strategic activity plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. Annual activity plans and their implementation reports are prepared in accordance with the  most recent order* of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania dated December 13, 2019, No. ĮV-826, which clearly defines the data to be included in these planning documents and how they should be presented. The criteria for evaluating activities are also established by the most recent order* of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania dated November 14, 2019, No. ĮV-748.

Annual activity plans and their implementation reports are also prepared in accordance with the most recent editions of the Public Sector Accountability Act and other relevant legal acts.
